I meet Anna Williams one morning, only to realize that she is a mum I see at school! What a small world, isn’t it. She is the talented mum behind Crafted by Anna (Singapore), which makes some lovely nursery art work, for little ones.

An accountant by profession, Anna Williams decided to quit her job, to take on the role of a mom and designer more actively. Anna was inspired by a gift her older daughter received for her birthday. She decided to make something similar for her younger one, and Crafted by Anna was born.

I like her happy-go-lucky carefree attitude. She jokes about her ocd nature (obsessive compulsive disorder), but it works well for her business. You will see why. Her work is so neat and precise, and everything is handmade.

What makes her Nursery Wall Art unique, is her 3D artwork. She brings each canvas to life with balloons, butterflies, elephants, and other design features that kids love. She uses simple elegant fonts to personalize each artwork. Her toolbox, consisting of punches and dies (from companies such as EK Success and Sizzix) is ready at any time of the day, and nothing stops her from creating pieces that are so close to her heart.

Of British origin, her travels back to the UK, allow her to source the best quality paper. With a penchant for quality, she uses high-end acid-free paper, which lasts a long time.

She also designs buntings and greeting cards. Paper dream catchers are also in the works.
