Nuts and Seeds Chocolate Clusters

Nuts and Seeds Chocolate Clusters

Nuts and Seeds Chocolate Clusters are power packed bite sized treats. Another easy and “quick to prepare” healthy food idea on women’s week. It does not take much effort to prepare chocolate clusters at home. You can make a big batch and keep these in a jar and also these make a beautiful gift for someone looking for healthy alternatives. When you want to gift pack them; put each cluster in a mini cupcake liner and placed in a cookie tin.

Delicious chocolate foods are often restricted for those focusing on better health.  You can very well enjoy a tiny indulgence here and there to keep you feeling satisfied.

The great thing about these treats is they are made with dark chocolate, nuts and seeds.

Mostly we see almonds coated in chocolate; which we all find delicious. But this time I wanted to go beyond by adding toasted seeds to the chocolate clusters.

If we talk about seeds; most of us are confused about how to use seeds in everyday meal. It is so essential to incorporate seeds to our everyday meal; especially if you are a vegetarian. So adding roasted almonds, walnuts and pistachio to the chocolates along with toasted seeds made these pretty looking clusters into energy bites. And kids love them too.

There are chia seeds

Chia seeds – The benefits include promoting healthy skin, reducing signs of ageing, supporting the heart and digestive system, building stronger bones and muscles and weight loss.

Pumpkin Seeds – Eating only a small amount of them can provide you with a substantial quantity of healthy fats, magnesium and zinc. They improve heart health, prostate health and protects against certain cancers.

I have used sugar free chocolate which is rich in flavonoids, also improves blood flow to the brain and heart. These dark chocolate nut and seed clusters contain vitamin E, copper, and manganese. The combination of delicious chocolate and nut is sweet, salty, and features a satisfying crunch. It is one of my favourite after dinner treat and is perfect when there is that “gotta have it” craving for chocolate!
