Peas Paratha

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 cups all-purpose Flour
  • 2 cup fresh Boil Green Peas
  • 1 tsp Roasted Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Roasted Dry chili powder
  • 1 pinch Hing (Asafetida)
  • Ghee or Refined Oil
  • Sugar as per taste
  • Salt as per taste

TIME REQUIRED : Less than 40 minutes

PROCEDURE

STEP 1

Take a bowl and mix the flour and salt. Add oil and mix all together with your palms in such a way that it looks like crumble. Then add water little by little and make soft dough. Cover the dough and leave it for 20 min.

STEP 2

Grind the boil peas and make a fine paste.

STEP 3

Take a pan and heat some oil. Now add Hing, peas mixture and keep stirring continuously. Then add dry roasted powder, salt and sugar. Keep mixing the spices with the mixture.

STEP 4

Once it is done remove from flame and let it cool.

STEP 5

Now divide the dough into equal parts and roll it in palms to form a smooth round.

STEP 6

Fill the pea paste inside the dough rounds and roll out smearing a little oil as you go.

STEP 7

Now heat oil in a tawa and fry the parathas till both sides turn slightly golden and crispy. Fry all parathas same way. Now you can enjoy your homemade Peas Paratha or Koraishutir Paratha.
