Tags: song field idea

Now the quality that comes off from this more than anything else is it perfectly creates a setting of childlike haze. You don't really have any Idea what the real intent is and the state of yes and no, of positive to negative flips back and forth so quickly. Namely in the last section

"Always, no sometimes, think it's me, but you know I know when it's a dream.
I think I know I mean a 'Yes' but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree.
Let me take you down, 'cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields.
Nothing is real and nothing to get hungabout.
Strawberry Fields forever.
Strawberry Fields forever."

The first two lines show off a sense of trying to find out what exactly it believes. "Always, no sometimes thinks it's me, but" Right there the idea shifts from absolute to sometimes and then after three more words the word but is thrown in to continue shifting the story off balance. Almost to keep you from even knowing if the work is agreeing or disagreeing with the topic. Especially keeping you away from the idea of the topic at all. It isn't till we reach the end of the second line that a conclusions even reached and still it's just I think I disagree. Which just shows a disbelief in most people's take on things, but still with doubt into whether or not we're sure of it ourselves.

Only the fourth line sums up the song perfectly. It showcases most indefinitely that this is all just a veil of emptiness. Skewing you away from any feeling with use of the word nothing twice and no other power words it draws even more into the fact that this is meant to be as empty and hazy as can be.
