Wind&Bones

A few months ago, without much fanfare, my fellow-writer Hannah Stevens and I launched a new project called Wind&Bones.

刘勰) runs Workshops, community projects and creative events that get to the heart of what it means to write well. We see writing not just as an end in itself (although it is, and good writing is its own justification), but also as a means to fostering creativity, community and social justice. We are interested how writing can help build confidence, support diversity, open up new possibilities for dialogue, and deepen our capacity for understanding ourselves, others, and the world that we share.

We are doing some work in the UK in the next few months, in particular with the Write Here: Sanctuary project, and in conjunction with Arabella Dorman’s powerful “Suspended” exhibition at Leicester Cathedral. We’ll also be over in Varna, Bulgaria, running creative writing workshops in August. And we have other exciting plans in the work for the coming few months, and I’ll post more here when things things are finalised.

Our small Wind&Bones website is now online, so do pay us a visit.
