Hey all! I know its been a while since I made a post (geesh, 3.5 months!) and I am glad to be back.
First of all I felt I had been too fair in my reviews, I mean not every Book our there is a 4 or 5 right?!? So I have decided to bed a bit stricter and less forgiving in my reviews. At least I’m going to try. I mean, I don’t want to be mean and I hate the thought of hurting anyone’s feelings, but on the other hand it is something that authors signed up for when putting their work out there, it is to be expected, right?
Second it was summer vacation and Ii didn’t have much extra time so I spent it reading and just padding my Goodreads book challenge (my goal is 75 books in the year). Plus I have 2 very energetic,very board boys to entertain all summer, talk about exhausting!
Third,and foremost, I was feeling like this was becoming a bit of a chore and that was effecting my reviews as well. I want this to be fun for me, and you as a reader as well. But Im back to a place where I am ready to take on my tbr list and bring you my thoughts and opinions and of course books! Plus I think I may start a giveaway or two this year!
Oh and in more bookish news, I’m going to start getting the YA Owlcrate and I am super stoked about that! So look for post about that and maybe I’ll do a video or something? I don’t know, but yeah. Sooooooo excited!
Also in other news a bit more personal I have decided on going back to school so that I can become a full fledged teacher. The only career that will allow me the time I need with my kids and use of my previous (biology) degree. Plus as I have been driving a school bus and substituting I have discovered that I not only really enjoy working with kids I’m pretty descent at it.
So thanks for keeping up with me and look for my next 2 posts today for reviews on my latest completed reads. I’m also re-reading The Last Magician because the sequel is due putt in a free weeks and I’m also super stoked about that, I pre ordered a signed copy. And you know off you tag my review I TOM then you know how much I looooooooooved iiiiiiit!
