Have you ever wondered about falling in love with an angel? How about a fallen angel? No? Me either, but after reading Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick I am certainly intrigued. I mean minus the fangs and all, Patch reminds me of Angel from Buffy!

This book is mysterious and sexy at the same time but not overtly. I can see why this book has been such a hit and I am eagerly waiting for the sequel, Crescendo, to be available at my library.

Nora is your average teenage girl. There is nothing extraordinary about her, or so she thinks. Patch seems to think otherwise and is very interested in her for some reason and it really unnerves her.

Patch is on a mission, and that mission is Nora Grey. He has assimilated himself into her life in a way that makes her uncomfortable. The problem is, it makes him uncomfortable too. He was not meant to fall in love with her, because for him to live normally, he was to sacrifice her and in the end he can’t sacrifice his heart to become human.

There is other sinister things at play here when a new stranger and his friend try to assimilate into Nora and Vee’s, her best friend, clique.  Vee is quite taken by their charms but Nora seems to sense alternative motives. There is also Nora’s new school counselor who seems way too interested in her love life.

When all comes to a head who will be left alive and who will have fallen?

Truly a perfect young adult novel!  So my little booklings will you become fallen?

I highly recommend this as in 5 out of 5 stars!
