Me After You

Not the Conclusion that you expect, but one that is incredibly realistic.

You’re going to feel uncomfortable in your new world for a bit. But I hope you feel a bit exhilarated too. Live boldly. Push yourself. Don’t settle. Just live well. Just live. Love, Will.

Picking up after the conclusion of Me Before You, you Hope to find Louisa in a better place where she finds her happily ever after. While the conclusion is not exactly a satisfactory HEA it is a conclusion that would most likely occur outside the realm of fiction.

It was slow to pick up even with the event where Lou falls off the roof of her flat building. I think it really didn’t hold my interest until about 60% into the Book.

This is the story of how Lou picks up the prices and learns to move on. She ends up mixed in more of the Trainor’s family business while trying to trying reconcile with her own.

In the end her life seems to be on the path to happiness.

I was pretty disappointed with the story as a whole but I enjoyed parts of it. I would hate to say I wouldn’t recommend reading it. If you want to know where Lou goes from there then do but don’t look for the emotional rollercoaster that the first book took you on. But if you are looking for a book with the caliber of Before You then don’t, this will disappoint you.
