"These seven Monuments represent the best of California’s wildlife and wild places and are broadly supported. Mirroring the strong public support for continued protection of these monuments in California, the state Legislature passed Assembly Joint Resolution 15 in June. This resolution called on Congress and the president to respect and protect California’s seven monuments currently under review.
