The Zumper Phoenix Metro Report analyzed active listings in April across 11 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the Fastest Growing rents. The Arizona one bedroom median was $901 last month.
The Most Expensive
–Scottsdale, AZ rent dropped $50 to $1,240 but continued to reign as the most expensive in the metro.
–Gilbert, AZ had the second most expensive rent at $1,050.
–Chandler, AZ followed closely behind as third with one bedrooms priced at $1,040.
The Least Expensive
–Glendale, AZ saw rent grow $20 to $770 but remained the most affordable city.
–Mesa & Avondale, AZ tied for second least expensive with prices both at $900.
–Goodyear, AZ ranked as third with rent at $940.
The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Mesa, AZ had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 15.4%.
–Peoria, AZ rent was the second fastest growing, climbing 11.2%.
–Chandler, AZ had the third largest rental growth rate, increasing 10.6%.
