Across the United States and the rest of the world, growing Stem (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) industries are in constant need of qualified professionals to fill highly technical positions. Because of this need, great emphasis has been placed on properly and effectively integrating STEM material into everyday Education at almost any level of schooling. By introducing these subjects to children early and showing them that the material, while very technical later on, can be both fun and interesting, it helps to increase the chance that some students will go on to pursue further education in STEM-related fields. In this infographic, we’ve covered some of the ways STEM education can be implemented in early education as well as some barriers that make STEM integration difficult at the present time.
