How to Share Your Facebook Business Manager Account with Your Ad Agency

Coming up with engaging content takes too much time that nobody has. So If you’ve decided to work with an agency or partner and are planning on collaborating on your Facebook page or ad account, sharing your Business Manager with them is one of the first steps.

We all know that getting into the weeds of any digital marketing platform can get confusing very quickly. So here’s a step-by-step guide on how to share your Facebook Business Manager Account.

(If you don’t already have a Business Manager account set up, click here to learn how to do so.)

First, go to your Business Settings, which can be found by going to business.facebook.com. You will then need to login using your Facebook Username and Password.

The page will look similar to this when you login.

Next, click Business Settings in the top, right-hand corner.

Once you click Business Settings, you will come to a page like this.

Then, click Partners on the left-hand side.

Once you click Partners, click Add.

You will then see this screen pop up.

At this point, you’ll need the Business ID of the company you want to share access with. (Note: Your partner can find their ID by going to the Business Info in their Business Settings.) You can add it in here and then push Next.

After you enter the Business ID, you can choose which assets and access your partner to have.

On the left-hand side, you can choose which assets you want to give access. These options include your company page, ad account, catalogs, pixels and so on.

After you choose one (or multiple) of these, you can choose which level of access you want to give from the drop-down menu on the right.

After you choose a role for your partner, copy the shareable link.

Click close, then send your partner or agency the link you generated as soon as possible. Once you share the link, they must open it within 30 days or it will expire. The link may only be used once.

After you follow these steps, your account can be shared successfully with your agency and they’ll have access to help out your page!
