Siri has a got a grand debut with the introduction of iOS 6 on the Ipad 3. Siri, the voice assistant for Apple devices, gains new functionality with iOS 6, as well simplifies some tasks and offers great usability. This iPhone’s new assistant lets you use your voice to send messages, schedule meetings, place phone calls and much more. Siri understands your natural speech and perform the task accordingly and asks you questions when it needs more information.
Siri is a complete package with features of music playback, weather, news, maps, notes, iMessaging, calendar, reminders, contact search and Safari. You can activate Siri interface by pressing the home button. It would be in the form of a pop up window on the screen. But there have been doubts about whether Siri would flawlessly receive the commands or not? This because iPad is generally kept at a distance as compared to the iPhone.
Apple has been continuously testing Siri for the iPad iOS 6 update. It is validating Siri for second and third generation of iPad. But according to the reports Siri would be launched on the third generation iPad with retina display and not for the entire iPad family. As it would use all the iOS 6 features so it is apt for iPhone starting from 4S and its successors.
Technocrats across the globe are waiting for Apple's announcement for Siri which is speculated to be done in June at WWDC.
