OSHA Online Reporting Deadline: July 1, 2018

For many (but not all) employers, July 1, 2018 is the deadline for submitting your calendar year 2017 form 300A, the Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses, using OSHA’s still-relatively new online submission portal.

To find out which employers have to submit their 300As on July 1, and to find out where to do that, read on.

Which Establishments Must File the 300A Online Soon (July 1, 2018)?

Not all establishments have to submit their 300A online this week. According to OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application Electronic Submission of Injury and Illness Records to OSHA website, those that do are:

  • Covered establishments with 250 or more employees
  • Establishments in certain high-risk industries that have 20-249 employees

Where Do You File Your 300A?

Go to OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application Electronic Submission of Injury and Illness Records to OSHA website. You start the online submission process there. Plus they have a pretty good FAQ set up there as well.
