To make your own graduation party favors you will need:

Clear favor tubes filled with treats of your choice from Fancy That

Black Card Stock

Black Crepe Paper

A Medium Sized Black Brad

Scissors

Double Stick Tape

Hole Punch

Ruler

Paper Trimmer (optional)

Step 1: Cut two pieces of black card stock to make your cap. You’ll need one 2 x 2 inch square and one strip that measures 4″ long and 1/2″ wide. A paper trimmer makes cutting really easy, but it definitely can be done with a good old pair of scissors and a ruler.

Step 2: Wrap the strip of paper around the cap of the candy favor tube, securing it in place with double stick tape.

Step 3: Use the black crepe paper to make your tassel. You can customize your candy favors by using any color of crepe paper that matches your school colors! Measure and cut three 6″ strips of crepe paper. Stack them together and cut very thin strips. Begin at the bottom of the stack and stop about 3-4″ from the top. Continue fringing the crepe paper all the way across your stack.

Step 4: Fold your crepe paper about 4 times vertically until it is roughly 1/4″ wide or looks like the picture above. This does not need to be exact!

Step 5: Take the 2 x 2 black square of card stock and punch a small hole in the center. Using a brad, attach the crepe paper tassel to the square.

Step 6: Using double stick tape, adhere the square to the center of the candy favor tube lid. Now bend and fuss a little with your tassel until it looks just right. You may want to trim a little of the fringe to make it shorter depending on the look you’re going for.

Isn’t it so cute?! Our favor tubes come with a fun sticker to celebrate your grad. These party favors are not only quick and easy to assemble, but add that extra special touch to your celebration!

Call or come in today and we’ll assemble your candy favors for you. Top them with your handmade graduation caps and get ready to party!

Keep it fancy,

Angela
