Condo Prices Up in Baldwin County in February from a Year Ago

The statistics below represent condos in the entire County of Baldwin County including Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Foley, Fairhope, Daphne, and Spanish Fort. Of course, the vast majority of condos in the county are on the Alabama coast.

All of the figures below compare sales from February 2017 to that of February 2016.

Total Condo Sales

  • Decrease of 6.6%
  • Sales totaled 114 in 2/17 compared to 122 in 2/16
  • Using a 5 year average sales were up 7.1%

Median Sales Price

  • Increase of 18%
  • The median sales price in 2/17 was $289,100 compared to $245,000 in 2/16
  • 5 year average – increase of 10.2%

Average Sales Price

  • Increase of 23.8%
  • The average sales price in 2/17 was $324,989 compared to $262,498 in 2/16
  • 5 year average – increase of 12.6%

Total Condos Listed for Sale

  • Decrease of 16.4%
  • Condos available for sale were 755 in 2/17 compared to 903 in 2/16
  • 5 year average – decrease of 24.4%
