Germans-speaking Clinical Cousellor

Nina Hopmeier completed her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the Athabasca University of Alberta. Her training was largely focussed on mindfulness and cognitive behaviorial approaches.

Growing up in Vienna, Austria, in a multicultural environment has largely influenced the counsellor that she is today. through her life experiences and training on multiculturalism she has gained awareness of the importance of tailoring her Therapeutic approach to the cultural needs of individuals. She is extremely passionate about working through a multicultural lens in order to strengthen trust and rapport.

Her areas of focus are: depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief & loss, stress management, eating disorders, addictions, couples therapy and trauma.
