MEG 21 Skincare Review; Hand Cream, Eye Cream and Face Cream

Tags: cream skin face

I have been a lot better recently with skincare and paying attention to my Skin, rather than trying to fix it every now and then with face masks and treatments and it’s really paying off. I have also been on project FINISH STUFF. Face creams I am not that keen on, I’ve been using as body lotion, for example.

Anyway, I am telling you this because the more older stuff I finish, the more newer stuff I can open up and start using. One range that has been loitering in my current ‘in use’ collection is this range from MEG 21.

MEG 21 products contain a patented Supplamine, a skincare ingredient with ‘sugar blocking’ technology and reverse the appearance of ageing skin within 14 days. Scientists for the brand discovered that the compound intervenes in the production ad availability of toxic sugars in the skin.

It’s funny, when I think about sugar, I think about it damaging my teeth and making me fat. I don’t think about the effects on my skin, but now that I know it can affect the skin, I am definitely making an effort to curb my sweet tooth. But I digress.

I tried a selection of products from the range.

The Smooth Radiance Advance Formula cream is used for the face and neck. You press the cap down and some product pumps out which I like – it’s more hygienic then sticking your finger in the tub but you do have to remember to clean the pump area.

This is quite nourishing cream which I enjoyed using – no allergic reactions and my skin was well moisturised, and had an extra brightness to it. I didn’t see results immediately, you have to stick with it for at least a month to see some difference. I think it’s better suited for drier to normal skin types, I am not sure if it’s too thick for oily skins.

The Eye Treatment is for brightening and firming. I am still using this currently and I am liking it – I have seen an improvement if tone around my eyes since using it – I am lazy with eye products as I don’t have a ton of wrinkles around there but prevention is better than cure of course! So far I am enjoying this product – it sinks in fast and my entire eye area feels refreshed.

The hand cream is another quite thick textured cream – I am super lazy when it comes to hand cream! I shoudn’t be as they say hands give away your age!

I found this one quite moisturising and it took a little while to sink in. When I remembered to use it it helped with my super dry cuticles and general hand health.

Overall this is a promising range – I didn’t experience anything negative about it so it’s a case of whether you want to try the Supplamine ingredient out for yourself!
