Congratulations to the team of students from Pacific Middle School, who won the Washington Regional Future City competition on Jan. 20.
This win qualifies them to compete at the 26th Annual Future City National Finals, scheduled for February 17-20 in Washington DC.
This year there were over 20 teams from Oregon, Washington and Idaho competing in the Regional including 5 other teams from Pacific at the competition which took place at Green River CC.
The students will be traveling to Washington DC with their teacher Sandy Gady and mentor Kathi Dewey. They are ecstatic to be headed to nationals and represent the school and state at this ever-growing engineering competition.
“We are so fortunate to have a teacher like Sandy Gady at Pacific to help our kids prepare to participate in a competition like this.
Congratulations again Sandy and Team Terranova and good luck at nationals!”
