Nice To ‘Meet’ You?

If we are to define the word ‘meet’, Merriam-Webster Dictionary says to see and speak to (someone) for the first time; to come together in order to talk; to go to a place to be with someone else; to come together formally; to have a meeting or to come together for a discussion. Meaning, in order to ‘meet’ someone, you both to be in the same space, in the same time, in body and flesh.

But times has changed, and here comes an evolution. Meeting someone doesn’t really mean ‘meeting in body and in person’. In the 21st century, you just need a few clicks, a few chats, and then, boom.

There’s Love.

Tinder- Where You Can Meet Your Better Half

Truly, a new era of dating has started. Ladies don’t need to put much effort on make ups, buying pretty clothes, doing their hair and spending too much on salon just to be noticed. Men do not need to go down right bankrupt anymore during first dates and wear high-end clothes just to leave a strong impression to his date.

Blind dates no more. No more getting flabbergasted at the sight of your date you never expected to be.

No more straight to your face rejection.

Because in Tinder, you just need the right angle for your profile picture, and you’re set. Swipe left, swipe right is all that is.

Tinder, although originally is a social app for mutually interested users, became a dating app that ever since launched on 2012, has been helping people all over the globe to find their better half in new way, with a twist.

In Tinder, users use the left and right swipe on photos, or to be much precise, selfies of other app users. If you like what you see, swipe right? If pass, swipe left. And the dating starts when two users (male & female) had swiped right on each other’s photos and became a match.

And of course, there’s a list of options to every guy/chick out there who liked back your selfie. The choice is all yours to make on finding out who among who is truly suited for you. You just need a few chats, and meeting up in person should come up later for more serious business.

And so that’s how tendering relieved all the hurts of rejection in the world. And I Fell In love. Through Tinder If you’re thinking that Tinder is just a playroom where you chat with just anybody you feel like chatting with, and that you can never find true love in here, well, let me prove you wrong.

Research will prove you wrong.

University of Chicago conducted a study that more than a third of marriages started online, and online couples have longer and happier marriages.

And if you’ll search Google about true life success stories through dating app, there will be like hundreds of articles. Hundreds of stories so heart-warming and romantic it will make you jealous.

Actual marriages. Being together for years. Well, everybody may not have the same happy ending but everyone on Earth knows that’s how love is.

You love, we love, not minding if it will become flop at the end. We try everything, even including technology on the line.

And this technology is really an amazing thing that helps not only with how we do things, but also on picking someone to be with. Technology now helps you, helps us, find love.

Swipe. Click. Chat.
