Is Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1) Really Redmi Note 5 Pro Killer? Or It’s Just A Paid PR Practice!

A few months ago, Xiaomi India Launched a Revolutionary smartphone in Indian Market, which is regarded as the best mid-range smartphone. Talking about Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, this Redmi Phone is best in every aspect, be it’s 18:9 bezel-less display or its 20 MP front camera. The processor of the phone itself speaks a lot. It used Snapdragon 636, the fastest and most efficient processor in a mid-range smartphone.

Due to overwhelming response, the demand for the smartphone also on high. Still, millions of people waiting to get this but couldn’t grab it from flash sales. Many people buying this from offline stores with ₹ 2000 extra.

There’s no substitute for this smartphone until Asus launched its Zenfone Max Pro M1, which is called as Note 5 Pro killer! Really?

Is it really have that much specifications to be called as Redmi Note 5 Pro killer? I don’t think so! There’s a lot of things that the Redmi phone have an Asus M1 doesn’t have, and Zenfone Max pro have and Note 5 Pro doesn’t have.

Both the phones have their own distinct quality.

In some aspects both have similar specifications like the processor, both phones have powerful Snapdragon 636 processor, both have same metallic unibody and 5.99 inches Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Things that Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 have and Redmi Note 5 Pro doesn’t have –

Dual 4G Volte standby,

5000 mah battery,

10 Watt charger,

Stock Android,

Lower Prices,

Dedicated Sim slots,

Android Oreo 8.0.

But there are some features that make the Redmi phone invincible like it’s 20MP Al powered the front camera with bokeh mode. The IR blaster that can be used to make your phone a remote control, the dual-band WiFi 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz whereas Asus’s M1 has a 2.4 GHz single band WiFi.

To Conclude:

I must say that both the phones have their own Positives and Negatives. That doesn’t make one the killer of another. To be called as killer one should be far better from another, incomparable. In this case The Asus Zenfone Max Pro is no doubt an amazing smartphone that doesn’t make it the Killer of Redmi Note 5 Pro.

On the other hand, Redmi phones demand is stable they never cut prices of their phones like other brands. You can expect a good resale value of your Note 5 Pro even after a year.
