Hi everyone. My name is Sean and i decided to start this blog after i was asked to do so since my success on one Affiliate program that i signed in a little time ago.
What i saw on my daily internet surfing, is that there are a lot of sites, blogs and forums talking about affiliate marketing but not so many takes the time to explain, step by step how this thing works.

First of all i would like to make clear and i am not a marketing professional, i just started and learned everything i might know, from other sites and from real pros. I am just like you, a common guy who has the chance to start a program and figured out how to make extra cash (at the very begining) until finally discovered the way to live from my online sales income.

How could you do that as well? That is the question i will try to answer on this blog which i will update once a week,

Once more, i created all this “social web” stuff all at the same time to reach as many people as i can, so i am learning just like everyone.

What is Affiliate Marketing?
To learn how to run, first you need to learn how to walk and understanding what is Affiliate Marketing will open your mind to a large variety of learning sources. But first let’s understand what is all about.

I will use the Cloncom.com Affiliate Program for all my future examples and explanations, since is the program that i am running.

The Brand / Seller is the company that you are representing, i mean the company that offers your the Affiliate Program.

The Affiliate, as you may noticed, is the one who sells the Brand’s product and get a commission for each sale. It depends on the program, the basis could vary, let’s see for example Cloncom’s Affiliate Commission Rates:

This Commission structure is showing different payments stages depending on your monthly sales performance.
However, is really common that the Affiliate Manager may offer special rates for top affiliates. It is up to you to get them😉

Finally, the customer is the visitor that entered in your website and made a purchase. That is called a conversion.

How can i join an Affiliate Program?
There are a lot of programs around the web with different offers, payouts and products to sell. Since i work in telecommunications and started to make a lot of phone calls abroad, i found that i can make money selling the same cards. And i did!
But there is one rule you need to learn before you start:

E-Z MONEY DOES NOT EXIST

You will find tons of sites of people with fancy videos and tutorials on how they made 1.000.000 USD per month in just 5 steps or less. Well, at least for me, those sites are a big  SCAM.
They promise magical spells to attract money and my friend, that is not true. You will not find any of such things on this blog so if you are here looking for a 10 second solutions, you might leave the blog and continue surfing.
