The ZTE Blade V8 Pro Ships Out Today

If you found yourself enamored with one of our favorite midrange smartphones from CES, good news — the Zte Blade V8 Pro is shipping out today to everyone who preordered.

The Blade V8 Pro was one example of a nice trend we saw at this year’s show — dual camera arrays on cheaper phones. Putting two cameras on the back of the phone enables some neat depth of field tricks, but last year, we only saw that feature on premium phones. Not so in 2017.

While the Blade V8 Pro won’t be in stores or come to specific carriers, the unlocked phone can be used with AT&T, T-Mobile, or any prepaid carrier using one of those two networks. The phone is the first ZTE Blade phone to be released in the United States, and we’re glad to see it — sometimes ZTE’s low-end phones make too deep of cuts. The ZTE Blade V8 Pro seems to get the price to performance ratio just right, offering a solid Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, a 1080p display, and a 3,140 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 for $230. If you want a phone that can handle the basics and take some pretty nice pictures, it’s looking like a solid deal. The Blade V8 Pro is available to purchase from ZTE starting today.
