Much has been said about the soaring costs of housing in Washington, especially in boomtown Seattle, where newcomers have pushed housing costs to historic new heights, both in the rental and buying market. Washington’s luxury residential segment is booming too, with Northwest MLS reporting a 21 percent sales volume increase in 2016.
