Jewels by Jan NY is located on Long Island, New York. I earned my degree in Art Education and have always loved Jewelry as a form of artistic expression.

I’ve come to realize that jewelry is important in all our lives; to give it to someone as a keepsake expresses a sentiment or token of love, friendship, or a simple thank you. And not to mention to give a piece of jewelry to yourself for a job well done or a little pick me up can do wonders for the psyche!

I know when I look at my own personal jewelry collection that I’ve acquired over the years (and I’m sure you can relate) I find that each piece whether it is a bracelet or pair of earrings can evoke many wonderful memories. You can probably remember when you got that ring, who gave you that necklace and reminisce about that moment as if it were yesterday!

All of my pieces are special and as such are custom designed and handmade, unless specified, with superb quality and precision to the craft. They are usually made with precious metals and either gemstones or genuine Swarovski Crystal. I just love to juxtapose color upon color in many of my designs to create a piece of jewelry that is timeless in it’s appeal and wearability as well as a feast for the eyes.

When I'm busy creating my wonderful family: my husband, my two children and my Sheltie Cody give me all the love and support I need. I absolutely love what I do and find it extremely gratifying. I’ve been designing jewelry for eight years now and I’m still touched and thrilled when someone wears one of my pieces to a special event whether it is to a prom or their daughter’s wedding, or even just because it makes them feel special.
