Top 5 - Legitimate Ways Of Making Money From Home

'Read carefully and success might come your way' - Al

THERE is alot of talk about people who have made either a fortune or a decent living by working from the comfort of their own homes. Some stories tell that of rapid success and how one went from a lousy 9-5 job to making more Money in a week then they did in a month at their previous jobs.

MOST of these claims are usually scams, intended to lure desperate people of their last pennies and it is not rare that you will find stories like these on websites that prompt you for your email (be aware of junk/spam mail) or ask you to register and pay a small one time fee to recieve either a package or training required to start making money. I myself have never been victim to any of these get rich quick schemes, simply because I can read between the lines and recognize a scam when it's in front of me, but some people have been very unlucky and got ripped off huge amounts of money after pursuing these "Get rich quick schemes" and the moment you pay them is usually the last time that you will ever see you money.

I myself have however managed to make quite a decent living by working from the comfort of my own home (I know you are thinking that's what all other stories begin with, but keep reading from now and you will understand), but I didn't do this by these so called "Get rich quick" schemes, no, instead I choose to go the hard way and put in alot of effort and work to get to where I am today. I lost my job and tried countless of different methods over a period of about 2 months without any success. I almost lost hope, but decided that I would give it a last go, one last attempt to become one of those who sits on their lazy ass all day with money steady rolling into their bank accounts. Eventually I came to the conclusion that this wasn't an easy task at all and that it required alot of my time and effort.

After about 2 months the first sign of hope came when I made my first check of about £20 or $30. Now this might not sound like alot and it isn't, but for me it was a big step considering I didn't make anything for the first two months and because I really didn't have any kind of income at all (I was so broke I had no food to eat at times and I used to stay in a friends house). This persuaded me to pursue this opportunity with all remaining strenght and so I did. I made my second check of £87 or $137 shortly after that and here is where it really took off. I now had proof that the huge potential involved with working with the internet was real and how your revenues can increase every week (sometimes EVERY DAY) so I took things even further and started a new website that is still making me a decent profit every month.

After the recession hit I saw alot of people around me losing their jobs and entering a period of economical depression, especially those in education and being a student myself I know how hard student life can be whether you're in College or University so I have decided to share with you the knowledge and expertise that I have acquired along my journey from being broke to being paid. I have researched and made a list of the 5 best ways of making money from home, all methods have been tried by me personally and payments have been verified from all 5 methods before any of them made in on this list. This is to ensure that this is a valid guide to how you can make money, with methods that have been tried and proven to work.

Here goes people, this is my list of legitimate ways that you can use to make money from the comfort of your own home. I have ranked the methods according to my own experiences using them, based on efficiency, ease of use, potential of expansion and increasing your revenues and finally whether the method allows you to start from scratch with no kind of funding or planning behind it.

Top 5 List - Legitimate Ways To Make Money Online:
____________________________________________________
1. Google AD Sense
:

Google's masterpiece I would call it and without any doubt my absolute favourite method of making money from home (and also the method that made me and is still making me more money then any other ways I've ever tried).

To make it all simple, all you do is providing advertisement space on your website/blog for advertisers to publish their ads. The advertiser pays Google a certain amount of money each time that someone clicks their ad/link and you the website/blog owner gets a set amount of this money. Now Google does not exactly reveal how much they get paid by the advertiser or how much they pay you, but I can assure you that the amounts of money paid out for websites / blogs with large amount of traffic are HUGE!

The catch? (Oh, you thought it was bulletproof? Well It is if you use your brain and make an effort) is that you actually have to attract traffic to your website and get people to click the ads, which is very easily done if your website is on a popular topic that interests a wide number of people. A general rule for AD Sense is that the more traffic you attract to you website, the more money you will make as a result of more people who are likely to click the ads.

AD Sense also works for search results (You put a search box on your website and everytime someone clicks the ads that are shown with the search results you will get paid). It also works for feeds and mobile content so the options are there, but it is up to you which if not all methods you want to use.

To make it even better, AD Sense reads the content of your website / blog and targets ads according to the content, which makes it much easier to score clicks as the ads that are shown are relevant to the topic and as a result relevant to the people who visit your website / blog.

The only downside to AD Sense is that it CAN take alot of TIME and effort before you are actually making any decent money and not everyone is successful at it (Usually because their websites / blogs are full of pointless bullsh*t that nobody really wants to read). But if you feel creative, have a topic that you know alot about, already own a website / blog or just want to make some money then DO put the effort in, because the potential with AD Sense is HUGE and I myself would never ever go back to any other method after trying it out, putting some effort in and eventually becoming successful at it.

You can get paid in various ways including: check and direct bank transfer and you can also set how often you would like to get paid; I personally recommend monthly payments as weekly amounts in the beginning are usually quite low.

Summary:
+ Huge potential with practically no limit on how much you can make.
+ Work whenever you want, wherever you want and as much as you want.
+ Quick and easy to set up
+ Safe and easy ways of receiving your earned money.
+ Alot of help available if required.

- Not always successful (Be careful with your topic, choose popular ones to attract people)
- Usually requires alot of time and effort in the beginning (When you first set it up)
- Make sure the layout of your website is nice and smooth and try to intergrate the ads with the design of the page. Messy websites will most likely turn people away.

4.8 / 5.0

2. Online Paid Surveys
Another great way of making money from the comfort of your home; surveys have become a popular way for many to make a few extra pounds or dollars on the side. Now, I would not recommend this as a primary income source simply because the time and effort you have to put in to make a decent living is breathtaking and not worth the money per hour that you spend on filling out surveys. I do however recommend you taking paid surveys because they are a proven and effective way of making that little extra on the side. It does work and they do pay (I have listed those companies I have experience with further down).

Downsides are that it takes alot of time to make any decent money and personally I don't think that it is possible to make a decent living from filling out surveys. It is however possible to make some extra money and it is very easy to do so. You can join and get started almost instantly with most survey websites and it is very easy to cash out with most. Most websites will reward you with points that can then be exchanged for prizes of various kinds.

To make it easier for you, I have listed some of the Survey Websites that I personally have experience with, all websites have been tested (Registered - Filled out surveys - Cashed out - Received cash) before making it on the list so you can be sure that you are getting paid for your effort. Beware that there are many websites out there that are scams, most making you fill out surveys without actually paying you for it! I have tried plenty of other website as well but the ones mentioned are the ones that have passed the full testing procedure.

Word of advice, register with all four website and more if you can, because the profits made from one website are close to pocket money. Add revenue generated from a couple of these surveys websites however and you will have a more decent amount of income on the side.

1. http://www.lightspeedpanel.com/
My absolute favourite with plenty of surveys to fill out almost all the time, a huge range of products to trade in your reward points for including cash (through PayPal) and a fairly quick payout system (compared to others). Surveys also have a user friendly and smooth layout making it easy for anyone to use.
2. http://www.panelbase.net/
Good website that offers you a £3 bonus just for signing up. You can also make some extra money (£0.20 / person) by referring people through a link that they give you. Rewards are paid out in form of cash and you can cash your money out once your balance reaches £10.
3. http://www.whatb.co.uk/ (UK Only)
Fairly new website that offers consumers in the UK ONLY the opportunity to share their shopping habits. Pays you in form of vouchers that can be used at a number of high-street retailers, either online or in shop.
4. http://www.opinionworld.co.uk/ (UK only)The surveys have a very nice layout and are easily navigated. Smooth and fashionable design makes it a pleasure to fill out the ever so annoying long-surveys. Reward points can be redeemed for a variety of items including cash and vouchers. Quite similar to lightspeedpanel

There are plenty of these websites out there and I can mention atleast ten more, but to keep it simple I will only mention the ones that I have tried myself and have proof for that they are working.

Summary:
+ Easy to register and most websites will allow you to start filling out surveys instantly
+ Easy to get paid and most websites offer alternatives to cash payments if required
+ Very user friendly, ANYONE can fill out a survey.

- Not possible to make a decent living, only as a little extra on the side.
- VERY time consuming
- Payments take long to reach you 5-10 days usually but sometimes longer
- Most websites do not offer cashing out directly to bank or credit/debit card. You will usually have to go through a third-party service such as PayPal.com.

3. CMS (The Cash Multiplier System)Ah, the ever so famous CMS that has spread like a disease on the internet with probably over a million websites teaching you how to use it and claiming that they were the ones who invented it. Now they dont ask you for any kind of payments, but what they do ask for is your email address which they will send the alleged information to and all they ask for is a small donation of your winnings. Now I wont ask you for your email or donations (unless you really want to give me something lol) but what I will do is explain the CMS in detail.

The CMS works in a very simple way, you play roulette on any of the online casinos (doing this in real casinos will get you banned, and it does not work with all online casinos either) and you simply bet on one color all the time, but if you loose then you double the bet on the same color. This way if you bet £1 on red and you loose, next time you bet £2 on red and if you win then you have spent £3 but earned £4 so you are up £1. So in theory there is no way you can loose in the long run as you will always land on top and there is no chance that the ball lands on the same color all the time (PROVIDED YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO START OFF WITH).

So to simplify it all, what you do is play roulette on online casinos, you bet on one colour all the time and if you loose then you double your original bet, but still bet on the same colour. So say you started off by betting £1 on red and you lost, your next bet will be £2 still on red. If you win on the other hand then you go back to your original bet of £1 and the process starts all over again.

Now you might think if it is so easy why is it not ranked higher, well let me tell you people. The CMS only really works if you have enough money to start off with as there is a 1/16 chance that the ball will land on the same color all the time meaning if you are very unlucky and have the ball land on the same color say 10 times in a row and your starting bet was £1, then the 10th bet will be (£1, £2, £4, £8, £16 , £32, £64, £128, £256)
and if you dont have enough money to start with, there is a big chance that you will not be able to cover the consequtive bet required to win your money back and you will find yourself broker then broke in literally seconds.

I have tried this myself and I did win some money for the first couple of minutes but then everything turned around and as I said I found myself being unable to cover the bet required to cover my losses. I think I lost about $100 at most and I never used it again. I have got alot of reason to suspect that the casinos have implemented some kind of software update that prevents you from using this as I have noticed that you will first win but eventually on any online casino you try, the ball will keep hitting the same colour for an unbelievable amount of times. As the system has been around for years and years now the chances are slim that the casinos will let this pass them by, and even if you win there is a big chance that you will get banned as usual with regular winners.

I would however recommend this method to people with an already huge bankroll that they can spend on gambling, in this case £1000 with a starting bet of £1 would probably be enough to never lose, but I cannot confirm this as I have never tried playing with a bankroll high enough to never lose.

I thought i'd share a list of some online casinos that I know work with this method and that are guaranteed to work if you don't win too large amounts each day and provided you start of with atleast £70 / $100.

Use referral code:
alan1989
(When signing up for DoyleCasino)

Summary:
+ Easy to register and you will be up and running withing literally half an hour.
(Provided you have a Credit / Debit card ready with money in your account to deposit into the casinos)
+ Very fast and easy way of making alot of money
+ Usually easy to cash out from the casinos as well.

- Only works if you have a HUGE bankroll to start off with
- Not proven to work with all casinos and some casinos will most likely detect you eventually if you keep winning over and over again.
- Casinos have minimum cash out limit meaning you wont be able to take out cash under a certain amoun.

4. Online Auctioning (Ebay etc...)Now the potential of online auctioning is huge and it generally requires no knowledge what-so-ever. It really does not require that much of an effort and you can be up and running withing minutes and possibly make your first pay-check within the first week. So with so much speaking for it already you might ask yourself the question "Why is it ranked so low on the list?". The only problem with online auctioning on websites like http://www.ebay.com/ is that you first of all need something to sell (Don't think that was hard to figure out :D). So if you don't already have something to sell or some money to buy something you can sell on then you're gutted. I have in my list chosen to go for the "start from scratch methods" as the top ones, simply because they are easy to start and run without any sort of previous finances or knowledge. I really wanted to place this method above the CMS, but as it takes a bit longer to set up and requires some kind of funds it had to end up below. Don't get me wrong, as mentioned earlier the potential is HUGE and you can literally sell anything, and I mean ANYTHING (with the exception of nuclear bombs, secret intelligence, the Queens of Englands whereabouts and possibly other people) you get the picture, if its legal, it can be sold and will most likely be bought on Ebay.

If you however have the time and are willing to put in the effort into actually setting up an Ebay traders account, you can make a decent living quite quick. I will advice you on certain aspects of internet trade that might help you turn your virtual market stall into a profitable business. First of all you will need to go to http://www.ebay.com/ and register for a sellers account (
You have to be 18 in order to do this and remember that Ebay will charge you a small commission fee that is deducted from the total selling price, this is how they make their money). You will also need to register for a PayPal account in order to manage your funds and transactions between buyer/seller (For those who are not familiar with PayPal it's an e-wallet that you top up with your bank account and then use as a wallet to shop online and send/recieve funds, visit http://www.paypal.com/ to register, it's free and easy). Second of all you will have to decide on what products you wants to sell and what market you want to target with your product. I would suggest you start off with selling things that you don't need in order to aquire a good reputation so that people who trade with you in the future trust you. Products that are more likely to sell on Ebay are: electronics, games, consoles, computers, collectables etc... But I have seen almost anything being auctioned on Ebay and people have bought the strangest things you can imagine. Now here comes the difficult bit, you will have to acquire items cheap enough to be able to price them at a reasonable price and in effect get people to buy your goods. If you dont already have funds to buy items for you are stuck unless you have something to sell. You will find yourself on a quest looking for a good deal where ever you can find it. An advice is to buy items from people who dont use them or are in need of the money as you can usually push the price down low enough to make a profit when you sell it. I have a friend who buys second hand phones cheap and then sells them on for a profit and he advised me that it is not as hard as you think to find a deal as people will very often be in desperate need of money, a condition you can easily cure if you have the money to pay them ;).

Alternatively if you have a bit of money to back you up and you are willing to take a risk then what most sellers will do is to buy cheap goods (usually electronics, gadgets and toys) from for i.e China in bulk quantities and sell them on, usually making a very good profit, because of the low prices that the Chinese market offers. I would personally recommend this method as I have personal experience and know that it works and is quite fool-proof. The only risk involved with this method is getting ripped off by scammers claiming to be suppliers (I have heard stories of people getting ripped off container loads of goods) and you will have to exercise extreme caution before doing business with a company. Make sure you check that they have a valid website, company address, company registration number and phone number and maintain a good relation with them over a period of time, where you first sample a smaller order and in turns increase the size of the orders if the previous ones arrive without hassle.

You will have to list all the items you are selling on your Ebay page and once you have published an item you will have to choice to auction it out or selling it for a set price. If you chose to auction it out then you will also have to set when the auction ends and this can be anywhere between a couple of hours to several days. Once a transaction is made, the purchase will first have to be cleared by Ebay before the money actually goes into your PayPal account, this is to make it more secure and it prevents scammers from ripping people off. After the funds have been cleared you can chose to withdraw them straight from PayPal to your bank account. It is however wise to always keep some funds in your PayPal account for refunds.

Note:
Drop an email if you want advice on where you can find overseas suppliers of most type of goods. I can go over this in a personal discussion as it is very hard to tell exactly where to look unless I am certain of what you are looking for. Contact me and I will advice you on various Chinese or suppliers from other countries and where you can find them.

Summary:
+ Good potential to make a decent living.
+ Easy and secure payments/transactions
+ Easy to run and maintain once you've set it up the first time
+ Almost anything can be sold

- Unless you have something to sell or money to buy something you can sell you are stuck.
- Time consuming and there is no guarantee that you will sell anything.
- Can be complicated for some people to set-up and get it running.
- To make a steady income you will usually have to sell alot of different items making it harder to manage.

5. Affiliate Programs

With the right knowledge and promotion, it is not impossible or very hard to earn a decent income through affiliate programs. The principle is simple, you referr people to a company/organisation and get rewarded for it. The catch is usually that the user had to spend money on either a service (online gambling) or buy a product of some kind, or alternatively sign up for some kind of service. You as the referrer then get paid a certain percentage of the total amount spent by the person you referred. Some affiliates will offer you very generous deals where you can work earning high commission rates, these are usually the ones related to online gambling or adult websites.

There are many different ways of recruiting people once you have registered for an affiliates program. The most popular way is to post referral links on websites/blogs that people can click to register; the link will usually be provided by the affiliate you are registered with and will have a tracker built in to keep track of your performance. When people sign up through this link and complete the service providers requirements you will earn your designated percentage of what they spend. Some affiliates will allow you to recruit people through email, but I would not recommend this as most email services will usually mistake these emails for spam and block or remove them, and how many times have you ever clicked a link or read such an email? (Never, exactly, so don't try it).

The best way to earn money using this method is to run a blog or a website where you can promote the products/services that the your affiliate is offering and by doing this persuade people to join or buy products/services from them. If you have a considerable amount of traffic on your site, and you know that the category of your visitors are likely to join what you promote you will have a goldmine before you know it.

Summary:

+ Possible to make alot of money.
+ Easy to set-up
+ Easy to track your performance
+ Alot of affiliate programs available out there

- You need to have a website/blog/forum where you can post referral links
- To make any decent money you will need to referr alot of people and maintain high traffic on your website.
- If you have no knowledge of the products/services you are promoting, it might be hard to attract the right type of visitors to your website/blog/forum.
- You constantly have to update your information to attract more new potential referrals.
