Experience Required:
The Houston office of Baker & McKenzie seeks a senior-level tax associate (6th-9th year level) and/or an energetic non-equity partner candidate with experience in international tax issues and with a solid foundation in US corporate tax and merger & acquisition tax. Exposure to partnership tax issues is also desired. The candidate(s) must have both domestic and international tax planning experience. The candidate(s) must also have excellent interpersonal skills, must value precision and have outstanding writing skills. At least two years law firm practice is also required. Our Houston office combines an understanding of the local business with the perspective of a global law firm. Our Texas-based practice, backed by our unparalleled global resources, enables us to help clients succeed both at home and abroad. Working closely with our Firm's offices throughout the world, we serve a wide range of local, domestic and international companies with business interests in Texas and in major markets in every region.
