Headlice problem – what can be done?

In days gone by schools used to be able to take action themselves to attempt to address this problem. The School nurse was often referred to as Nitty Nora. She would be responsible for checking children’s hair and even treating the condition in some schools. Those days are gone. Now, the best you can expect from a school is a fairly standard leaflet home advising on the best methods of treatment
