HDT SIngapore Holdings Pte. Ltd. established in 2013.
The company HDT is Singapore agent of Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Build Your Dream BYD.
HDT (Hold Dreams Together) started its operations in 2016 after the company applied for LTA’s for phase 2 electrical car test-bed.

HDT is the Singapore‘s first fully electric-powered taxi operator.

“HDT’s business proposal, company organisational structure, past performance records and financial capabilities have demonstrated the company’s business viability and ability to operate a full-fledged taxi service,” according to LTA.
The company is committed to increase its taxi fleet from 100 to 800 in the next 4 years.
Basic Salary with Cpf Contributions
First of its kind to offer full employment under a taxi model.
HDT taxi driver’s earnings includes a base salary of $1,900 per (inclusive of CPF contributions)
HDT taxi drivers income is based on a profit sharing model with the company.
Drivers typically have a gross salary of between $2800- $4,300. This model rewards drivers for their effort.
The basic pay gives taxi drivers the reassurance and stability while HDT absorbs the risk.
Freedom to do Street Hailing or Accept Bookings through 3rd party Apps
HDT taxi drivers have flexibility of selecting their jobs and or not restricted by the company. The taxi drivers can do pick-ups from street hail, or the HDT drivers can also get booking jobs through 3rd party App like Grab.
HDT has partnered Grab to provide taxi-booking jobs opportunities to their drivers.
All the incentives given by Grab will be kept by the HDT driver on top of their package with HDT.

The car rental can cost up to $90 a day for a normal saloon car and up to $120 a day for a taxi.
