We recently completed a post about great places to eat in the Oakridge, Hyde Park area. So know we are moving a little west into the Byron area.

Here are a few of our favourite places around Byron.

The Byron Freehouse

Located in the heart of Byron village, the Freehouse bills itself as a ‘GastroPub’. It has a lot of beer on tap and in the fridges and in the summer it has a fantastic patio.

Porcinos

Homestyle authentic Italian cuisine, this is a warm and friendly place that is always busy. If you want to eat here on the weekend make sure and reserve a table.

Bernies Bar & Grill

Great family spot, great hockey watching spot, great quick lunch spot.  Service is always friendly, beer is cold, and the food is good. Your typical Canadian bar experience.
