People, who go for deep sea diving or surfing, are always given lifesaving appliances for safety measures. As a reason of which “Life Saving Appliances” becomes an important and unavoidable invention. On 19th July, 1904, James Monroe Decker, got “Patent Protection” over certain improvement over already existing “Life Saving Appliances”.

The patent was granted by USPTO with Patent number US765274. The invention contains one piece suit, which includes body portion, leg portion and arm portion. The suit also contains air bags which will inflate when the suit is donned, which will ultimately help the person who is wearing it, in floating. Today, there have been many advancement in this invention but this remains one of the major change in the appliance.
