Pakistan Home Minister Mr. Sarfaraz Bugti tweeted that “”44 shaheed 118 inj Quetta attack ”

“Bugti informed the reporters that the attack was carried by three terrorists, Cycling the earlier estimate of 5 to 6 terrorists.”

He also informed the one terrorists were killed during the encountered and the other two terrorist blow themselves up.

“He said that Security forces including the Frontier Crops and Pakistan army have cleared 95% of the college area” he also said that when the attack took place around about 700 police cadets were recruited.

Frontier Corps IG major General Sher Afghan said that, “they believed that all three terrorists were from Al-Alimi faction of the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi militant group which is affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban.

He also informed the reporters that the militants were communicating with handlers in Afghanistan and also was talking the instructions from them.

He also said that the security forces had “cleared the college in four hours.”

Mr. Bugti informed that the injured people, cadets and security person had been shifted to the civil hospital; he also informed that the conditions of some are critical.
