The Bear Necessities

Bear relaxing

I have always been a bit of a wildlife buff and my favourite animal has always been the Tiger, that is until recently. For the last few months I have been living with a bear… and no, I don’t mean my wife’s been angry with me!

This particular bear has been almost constantly at my side and there hasn’t been a day go by that I haven’t had dealings with him. He’s been to the beach with me, I’ve had numerous coffee breaks with him and he’s woken me up a few times during the night. But he’s been a constant joy to work with. His needs are few, doesn’t eat very much, in fact doesn’t eat at all and you really wouldn’t know he was there… except he has a load of great Magical and fantastic stories to tell. If you love a good tale then you will love my friend Padistan.

Padistan Bear’s 1st Book

Padistan is a Literary figure helped into this world by the imagination of the author, John Warner. My connection with him is as his publisher and he’s already making his mark on the literary world.

The initial story of Padistan is a sad one I’m afraid. Through no fault of his own, Padistan has been forced to leave his home and his family to make his way in the world. Alone, with no friends, Padistan takes passage on The Beargonia  with Captain Horvath and his fantastic and magical adventures are just about to begin.

You can see his website and read Padistan’s blog here and you can find his first book here, telling the sad and tearful tale of his departure from his family.
