The UK is out of the EU, yet many UK Business leaders still want to do business with the EU. Vodaphone in the UK employs thousands in Britain yet apparently only does 11% of its business in the UK and 55% in the EU. So, what do UK business leaders do for the good of their companies? Well, it’s a golden opportunity for Cyprus to open its doors to businesses in Britain that still want to trade in the EU.
Let’s face it, Cyprus isn’t that far from Britain and visiting the family couldn’t be easier. In fact, Living in Cyprus probably means you will see more of them. So let’s look at the advantages: –
- Cyprus is in the EU
- The Cypriot economy is starting to boom
- Most people in Cyprus speak English
- The Cypriot business infrastructure is similar to the UK
- The law in Cyprus is based on the UK model
- Cyprus wants more businesses to relocate here
- The Cypriot government would welcome UK companies
- Health may be a recipricol UK/CY system as it was before Cyprus joined the EU
- Weather is fabulous
- Lots of empty properties waiting to be rented
Let’s face it, who wants to leave a freezing office block in London in October, for the long journey home on the tube when the tube driver’s are on strike yet again? In Cyprus you could leave work and be on the beach in 30 minutes sipping on a beer and enjoying the local cuisine.
As the advert says, “It’s a no brainer, Britain.” Come on UK business, come and join us in the sunshine.
