Shoveling out from the 2016 blizzard that dumped 2 + feet of Snow in our area is truly a humbling experience. After 2 1/2 hours of Shoveling around our home with my oldest son, we barely made a dent!! More work to do today. I don’t mind being sore after exercising for that long, but with each shovel of snow, I cannot help but think about God’s Word where He encourages us “To humble yourself in the sight of the LORD, and He will lift you up.” (1 Peter 5:6)

God also “Gives the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.” (Psalms 25:9) As we humble ourselves, God’s got our back. There is my comfort as I face all challenging jobs.
