Few publications bring Literature to the forefront quite like Electric Literature. Before scrolling away, this isn’t a plug for the website. I am an actual fan and have been for a while now. I’ve watched Electric Lit evolve with changes in the literary world while also accrediting both classic and underground literature.

For a limited time, Electric Lit is partaking in a #ReadMoreWomen campaign. In honor of women and authors everywhere, Electric Literature is giving away a stylish tote bag with their memorable hashtag printed on the side in their familiar, dramatic font, just above the site’s animated lightbulb logo.

The effort not only garners incentive to check out their website but also helps to achieve Electric Literature’s mission of making literature more exciting, relevant and inclusive. The tote bag will include around twenty books, all written by women, nonbianary, or trans authors.

One notable inclusion is One Day We’ll All Be Dead And None Of This Will Matter, a collection of essays written by Scaachi Koul. Hii-Lit will send someone a copy of this book, totally free of charge, simply for supporting our friends at Electric Literature. Become a founding member, and support Electric Lit via Drip, a patronage of Kickstarter. Tell them Hiii-Lit sent you for a chance to win a free copy of Koul’s debut Book of The Month!

There are only 12 days left to become a founding member of Electric Literature before their bags are completely gone. There is currently nowhere else, online or otherwise, to purchase the bag, although the books inside can be found almost anywhere. There is really no excuse for not checking them out, nonetheless, in order to #ReadMoreWomen!
