The Heir(The Selection #4)-Book Review

Tags: book eadlyn heart

Princess Eadlyn has grown up hearing endless stories about how her mother and father met. Twenty years ago, America Singer entered the Selection and won the heart of Prince Maxon—and they lived happily ever after. Eadlyn has always found their fairy-tale story romantic, but she has no interest in trying to repeat it. If it were up to her, she’d put off marriage for as long as possible.

But a princess’s life is never entirely her own, and Eadlyn can’t escape her very own Selection—no matter how fervently she protests.

Eadlyn doesn’t expect her story to end in romance. But as the competition begins, one entry may just capture Eadlyn’s heart, showing her all the possibilities that lie in front of her . . . and proving that finding her own happily ever after isn’t aimpossible as she’s always thought.

MY THOUGHTS

So I don’t get it if there was need of this series When authors will start to realize they have to let their series go when people are loving the books instead of dragging and dragging it until it lost its charm.

“I’m not sure anyone knows what they’re looking for until they find it.”

If you were thinking that America is annoying then you are wrong, Eadlyn is 1000 times more annoying than her and yes she also has the superiority complex…In short, she is a spoiled brat with zero qualities, she is stubborn, self-centered, foolish, self-obsessed and did I mention ANNOYING?.

All of the 35 contestants everyone seemed force, I didn’t like anyone except Kile, he was the only sufferable character in this book. But his and Eadlyn story is a cliche and no doubt they’ll end up together then why dragged this silly selection for 2 books.

“I only have one heart, and I’m saving it.”

There are overwhelming characters in this book, some old some new..They were too many. I couldn’t feel anything for any character. It is my least favourite book of The Selection series.
