The way of the Child,
Should be innocent and full of fun!
The way of the Child,
Should be filled with love and compassion!
The way of the Child,
Should not be filled with violence and hate!
The way of the Child,
Needs to be stable and secure!
The way of the Child,
Should be full of friendship and forgiveness!
The way of the Child,
Is an adventure and never forgotten!
However, though the above poem maybe true. The real fact is that in today’s society and culture our children are being neglected and physically and sexually abused. Some are sold into prostitution. Some are used to pickup drugs for a drug addicted parent. Most of all children are being deprived of love, hugs and nurture that they need in order to survive this cold world.
Nonetheless, thank God. Not all children have to endure such atrocities in their childhood. Thank God for those parents and families that do love each other through the good and bad times of life. Thank God for those parents who are not using their children for their pleasure, but showing their children how to live Godly lives for Christ.
Thank God for His mercy and unmerited Grace.
