I had been thinking about subscribing to Book of the Month for a while. The pricing wasn't bad, but with how tight our budget is with the upcoming wedding, I didn't want to risk it.

Besides, I very rarely buy new books. I mostly check them out from the library or snag them from used book stores, only purchasing books that I know I will reread time and time again. Or at least that's what I try to do. Ha! Of course I will snag a brand new book that I just couldn't wait to get from the library on occasion.

But then on my birthday, my wonderful fiancé gifted me a six-month subscription!
