Zara Summer Sale Haul 2017

How many of you know that our beloved Zara  is a spanish clothing and accessories retailer based in Arteixo, Galicia? This multi million dollar company hardly ever does paid advertising yet the owner  Mr. Ortega Gaona is among world’s richest person. They have anonymous designers unlike their competitors which collaborate with famous designers before launching a clothing line. They hardly ever do any press interview and keep on facing controversies. What is it that makes Zara one of the most popular brands across the globe including my own country India? Here are a few reasons.

  • Zara brings a new design almost every week unlike six months by other multinational apparel or accessories brands. And if that design does not do good within a week then that design is withdrawn from the outlets and they focus on the next design.

  • Though they prefer minor upgrades in silhouettes and change in prints or color so that their design sustain a long period of time.

  • Zara focuses mostly on basic clothing. The one which can be worn by the masses. Comfort with style!

  • Their clothes are non toxic. Zara has banned all the toxic and harmful products used in cloth manufacturing process right from threads to synthetic stuffs etc.

  • Zara usually selects the most expensive and best located real estate locations to launch Zara flagship stores.

Plus Zara clothes are affordable unlike other clothing brands of its category.  We Indians are in love with basic things with affordable prices which also provide us a great value of the product. And Zara just fits this chart effortlessly.

Here are a few Clothes I bought from Zara. I believe that the Zara sale is the real sale and you get really good discount during sale seasons.

Denim Jacket

Full of embroidery at the back and sleeves! The embroideries are so in these days. You find them almost everywhere, from shoes to bags to clothes! And this INR 5990 jacket costed me around INR 2490. This jacket is surely for the queens who feel like a king.

Faux Leather Palazzo Trouser

This Rs 2490 Faux Leather Palazzo trouser costed me around Rs 1190 after discount and I bought it for the approaching winters. The linings are pretty warm and you just can not wear it during summers. But it is going to be my most favored pair of trousers during winters that I can easily pair up with variety of pieces from trench coats to sweaters to hoodies. It’s winter perfect.

 leather effect basic mini skirt

I bought this leather effect basic mini skirt for the sheer love of sheen and swag it exudes around. And you know the best part this INR 1890 skirt costed me around INR 590 only. You think I won’t buy?

 Faux leather legging

The Faux leather leggings were again a super saver buy for winters. Bought it over its red and rust color which is so rare these days among dearth of embroideries and prints. The fit is tremendous. Waiting for a dull winter day when I could pair it up with a bomber jacket or a high neck cashmere sweater and let it spread all the colors and joy around.

Denim Skirt

This Wrap around bejeweled Denim Skirt ripped with rose embroidery is sheer fun and costed me around INR 1190 after discount. It ‘s a complete swagger and would be fun to wear it in any season. It’s a must for summers and also can be easily teamed up with leggings or boots during winters.

Unicorn Cotton top

Now this unicorn Cotton top was a fresh piece among the piles of sale clothes but I could not resist myself buying this cutie for Rs 1190.

THE LOOK

Here is the look from one of the Zara clothes from my summer shopping haul where I teamed up my Zara asymmetric mini skirt with an Only slogan crop top. The pleats provide edginess to the whole look apart from making it very interesting.

The zips and asymmetric detailing at the front provide amazing look to the skirt. The rusty crop top accompanied this black skirt perfectly and the Mochi sneakers proved to be the soulmates. The scorchy sun rays were dealt by Tommy Hilfiger round metallic shades and the Fossil watch added much needed sophistication to this chic look.

I bought these clothes from DLF promenade New Delhi India and I am aware of another Zara outlet at Ambience Guru-gram in Delhi. I recently bought clothes from there too. Though for Mumbai folks they can shop these Zara clothes from the Zara flagship store at Palladium Mall Mumbai. Though Zara has just opened its largest outlet in India. The 5 storey fort store is located at Churchgate Mumbai India. Go shop while the sale lasts!
