Well it is never good news these days is it?  And the knock-on effect is that I am finding it extremely hard to write anything remotely amusing.  

Every time I log on to Social Media or sit down to watch the news on TV, more people have been killed or maimed.  It currently seems to be open season for reckless, insane and pointless slaughter.

But we all have to continue to focus on everything that is good; and funny and that makes us happy.  Even though, deep down, we all want to do something to make all the bad stuff go away and it is not easy.
