It's official. Noah's two years old. My heart. How is he already this old? I can't even wrap my head around it. He's been well celebrated, thats for sure, and I think we both need a major diet after all the candy and sugar we've stuffed our faces with for the past few days. Saturday, Noah's birthday and easter, I got up at 5am to bake Noah's birthday cake. I put so much thought and effort into it and it didn't turn out how I'd imagined at all, but I am still very pleased with it. At 7am, I woke my parents and my sister up and we woke up Noah with song and presents. He was so surprised and confused but couldn't help smiling as he excitingly opened his gifts. He got a lot of cool stuff but I think his favourite was the big truck I got him, he's one car and transport obsessed dude. The morning was nice and calm, and we went hunting for easter eggs. But as the afternoon came closer, we went to meet up with my relatives at my grandparents house where we all celebrated the two big occasions together. Noah had so much fun with all the toys my grandparents house is filled with, and with my youngest cousin but he was so tired by the end of it, that his mood went from 100 to 1 in a split second, so putting him to bed when we got home was not a problem. On Sunday, we hung out with my cousin, and then yesterday on Monday, Noah had a little birthday party with his best friend where they played, and ate hot dogs and cupcakes, and I drank prosecco drinks with his friends mom. It was cosy, and it is always good to catch up with a friend that I don't see a lot. Today, I was back to work and Noah to school, where he once again was celebrated, he got a crown and they all sang for him. It's pretty cute. Now we're being potatoes on the sofa watching reality TV haha. We are probably hitting the Z's early tonight.
