• I didn't know about so many types of car, before it.
• It exposed me to some of the best resume formats.
• It helped me to know about 100+ Indian inventions.
  
• I learned more about Nokia because of it.
  
• I brush my teeth with my left hand because of it. Now my left hand control is better. 
  
• I now close the toilet sink before I flush, because it made me aware about "toilet plume".
  
• ..and many more. The list goes on.

I've been referring to the question-and-answer site Quora. Quora is a great platform to learn new things and share your knowledge.
