Décès de Simone Veil

J'ai ressenti une grande tristesse quand j'ai appris hier la disparition de Simone Veil à 89 ans. Une grande Dame qui a œuvré pour le féminisme et le droit des femmes en France et à l'étranger, qui a permis la loi sur l'IVG (interruption volontaire de grossesse) en 1974, qui a connu la Shoah et a été déportée. A été élue à l'académie française. Reposez en paix madame Veil. Vous nous manquerez.

Death of Simone Veil

I felt great sadness when I learned yesterday about the disappearance of Simone Veil at 89. A great Lady who worked for feminism and women's rights in France and abroad, which contributed on the French law on abortion in 1974, who knew and lived with the Shoah and was deported. She was elected to the French Academy. Rest in peace Mrs Veil. You will be missed.
