Hello Viewers!! =)

Hi,
Lulu here =)
Sorry for being inactive for a long time.
But I can tell you'll what happened in two months in our life.
But before that "Compliments of the Season!!"

Hmm.. now where do I begin?
yeah.. As soon as college re-opened, I just got a lil busy. Brandy got back to Goa!! =D which was exciting..
We started making plans for Christmas and New Years.
But then on my third day to college.. My driver made an accident and I fell in the front and fractured my nose.
Don't ask how. Because I myself don't know how it happened, it happened in a fraction of second.
Ok I didn't have a major damage on my nose. No scratch or scars. It was just dislocation of my cartilage bones with a hair line fracture. So I had this deep red strip of blood clothing that ran across my nose.
Ok, When I saw my nose dislocated I freaked and then I manually re-aligned my nose. I now know what you're thinking. Stupid thing to do!! No in fact when I went to the ENT specialist. On first sight on looking at my nose he couldn't believe my nose was dislocated in the first place. But then after the X-ray reports were out he spotted a hair line fracture and he saw the cartilage was not aligned properly. He said I did a good thing by re-aligning my nose that instant because it would be more painful for me if he had to do it a little later.
So then, he then manually re-aligned my nose again and put on a cast. And told me if I couldn't breathe in three days. I had to undergo a minor surgery in which they had to internally align my nasal bones. And no not Rhinoplasty. That's cosmetic surgery.
I was with the cast on for three days and I was feeling breathless...

Thus, I had to undergo surgery.
I underwent surgery and was in the hospital for two days with my mom.

While I was in the hospital, Brandy and a good friend Ashley gave me a surprise by coming into my room with a beautiful bouquet of red, yellow and white roses, some purple dendrobium orchids and ferns. It was beautiful. I almost had tears of joy filled in my eyes.
Okay I removed the flowers from the bouquet and placed them in a bottle with sugar water in it. I kept the ferns aside. Then next morning I did some photography. =)

That's my bed, my Drips and my Slice mango juice ^^
I couldn't eat anything for sometime. I had to only be on liquids. That too in small quantities.

When I got home I did some more photography. The roses bloomed beautifully. I just loved the way they looked and it also gave out this really sweet perfume-like scent.

At this time,we also got to hear the sad news of the loss of our beloved uncle, Benson D'Silva.
He underwent a coronary artery bypass surgery, also known as a coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) and the operation wasn't successful.
So it was funeral and prayers that went on for a week.
When someone in the family dies, the custom here is to avoid usage of any source of entertainment for a month. So I couldn't use my laptop.
And this year we're not suppose to decorate our house or prepare sweets. We're not suppose to wear red or other warm tones for at least a year. I know this may sound depressing. But it's not, it's just a little sacrifice for our uncle to remember him and remind people to pray for him, so his soul can rest in peace. And believe me no one at home felt like it was a painful pressure to do all this.
Everyone was also a little happy that he didn't have to suffer much and God took him at his right time.

But now that we have completed a month. we're not restricted to go out and have a little fun.
I couldn't go out on Christmas. But hopefully I will be out for New Years.

We celebrated Christmas in our hearts this year. And it was not that bad. It was really beautiful.
We still had visitors here over with sweets. We had our usual Christmas Lunch and Dinner.
Now I'm looking forward to spend New Year's with Brandy ^^
We had spend our Christmas together as well.. on skype. I couldn't go out. so he stayed home as well for me.
Basically, that's what Christmas is all about, to spend time and enjoy with your loved ones at home.

I had the most wonderful Christmas at home with my family and also with my beloved boyfriend who sacrificed and stayed home for me. Thank you mom and dad, and all my family members and especially,
Thank you Brandon for making my Christmas a really special one.

My ex was really selfish and self centered. He never really cared much for others. If I couldn't go. He never even had the courtesy to ask me if he can go for it. But he would fight and tell me that I was no one to give him permission. And it's not like I even stopped him. I would just ask him, "you're gonna go without me?". When will some guys learn. No one's the boss in a relationship. But it's just courtesy towards someone you love. So you won't hurt your partners feelings. And no one is stopping you. If you really want to do something all you have to do is ask your partner with love and you will never hear a no.
Well I guess that's what jerks get in the end what they deserve.. Nothing =P

I didn't stop Brandon. In fact I told him to go if he really wanted to go. Because I love him. And I would not want to make him disappointed about anything.  But you know what he told me, "Lulu, going for a party without you isn't going to be fun. But I can always stay home and spend time with you on skype" =)
And that's what he did. We spend our Christmas night together on skype. =)

Christmas is not just going for an EDM party or any party and doing crazy stuff there.
It's spending time with your family and friends and having the best of moments with them. And that's what I get every Christmas. These are the best times of my life.

                                       So once again friends,

Wishing you the Very Best Compliments of the Season
& a Prosperous New Year 2011!!! =)

Regards,
Lulu and Brandy
^_^ <3
