Behind every successful party is a signature cocktail. My Blood Orange and cherry mojitos will take you to the dark side this Halloween. Tart, fresh squeezed blood orange juice is sweetened with plump dark cherries and grenadine. A dash of cinnamon is added for a little bit of spice. Naturally Bacardi Rum is perfect for my mojitos, since the Bacardi bat is the mark of Halloween.
Bacardi Superior and Gold are perfect for Halloween cocktails, your guests will be impressed with your delicious drinks.
You can pick up Bacardi Superior or Gold at your local grocery store.
Create a classy and upscale Halloween party with with a few simple decorations. Carve the tops out of miniature pumpkins and fill them with succulents. Add silver studs to pumpkins for an edgy look. Mix in mason jar lanterns and additional potted succulents to complete the decor.
- 2 cups Bacardi Gold Rum
- 2¼ cups blood orange juice
- ½ cup grenadine
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, muddled
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Ice
- *Sliced blood orange for garnish
- Add rum, orange juice, grenadine, muddled cherries, and cinnamon to a pitcher. Mix well.
- Pour over glasses filled with ice.
- Garnish with an orange slice and serve.
This recipe makes four large cocktails or six smaller drinks. I recommend doubling this for a party sized batch. These drinks will be a hit with your friends, the hint of cinnamon with cherry and orange is so good.
Here is one more party tip- make enough succulent pumpkins for each of your guests to take one home. They will love the thoughtful party favor.
