Even though it is composed of four Grand Slam title holders, namely French Open Champion Li Na, Wimbledon Champion Petra Kvitova, US Open Champion Samantha Stosur and three-time Grand Slam titlist Maria Sharapova, every woman in the top 8 has a shot for the coveted title. With the absence of WTA dominating figure, the Williams sisters and defending champion Kim Clijsters, it is interesting too see who will emerge victorious and how fierce the competition will be with the No.1 ranking on the line.
