From today,Twitter.com has started a new function,that is the lists,where you can create lists according to your interest,and then invite related Twitter profiles to join the list.

Although the list feature of Twitter,is rather new(less than one day old),and still now has been offered to a select group of users.(I am,one of the lucky few who has received this feature).My personal opinion is that,this feature will soon be out of the beta,and available to everybody.

In my opinion,this is a very useful feature to organize your friends and followings,and stratify them according to your field of interest.

Other advantages,that may come into use are,if you get listed in a popular list obviously your Twitter profile will get a lot more exposure,and there by a lot more followers.
