Clean your face:

Hence, apply and massage generous amount of cleansing milk on to your face. Massage it for about 2 to 5 minutes and then leave it for two more minutes. Wash it off with regular water thoroughly and then tap your face with dry towel to dry it up.

Scrubbing:

The next step in the cleansing regime is to scrub your face. It is very important to scrub your face from time to time as it helps remove the dead skin on the face and also open the pores helping them to breathe easy.
Here too you can use ready-made scrubs available in the market or make a herbal one on your own. Whatever your scrub is, apply it on to your face and massage gently in circular motions. Especially, concentrate on areas of your face where dead skin and dirt tend to deposit such as the corners of your nose, mouth and jawline. Massage for about two to five minutes and leave on the scrub for some time till its dry. Once it’s dry, wash it off with cold water and pat your face with a dry towel.

Steam it up:

If you have a facial steamer well and good, you don’t have to worry if you don’t. Just take a bowl full of water and bring it to bowl and then you can cover your complete head with a towel or thick cloth to let your face get the steam. Steaming your face will help you open your pores completely.
After two minutes of steaming your face, get a blackhead cleaner and remove all the black and white heads on your face. Post this black head cleaning, cool your face down either by washing it with ice cold water or applying ice cubes on to the face. This will help the open pores of your face to cool down. Wipe your face with a cotton pad to cleanse it properly.

Face Mask:

Once you have cleaned the pore and removed all the dead skin off your face, applying any Face Mask of your choice according to your skin type. Market has a wide range of sheet masks and face masks available for all skin types and for different results. Pick one for yourself or else make a simple face mask with home ingredients which suits your skin.

One such easy face masks you can make at home is one with multani mitti, turmeric, sandalwood powder, honey and rosewater. This face mask powder works amazingly well for people with oily skin. In case you have dry skin, you could always try face pack with milk, curd, honey or some kinds of fruits like papaya or banana.
Apply the face mask and leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes (if the face mask you are applying needs more or less time, please do so). Meanwhile, you can place chilled cucumber pieces or cotton pads soaked in cold water on your eye lids to relax your eyes and under eyes area.

Rinse your face mask after the stipulated time and pat your face dry with a towel or a tissue.

Toning your face:

A toner is very important to keep the pH balance of your skin intact. After removing your face mask you can apply toner to face to maintain its pH level. You can either spray or pat it into the face using your finger.

Moisturizing your face:

Most people stop the cleansing process right at the face mask; However, it is very crucial to moisturize your skin so that it doesn’t dry up after all the procedure. Unlike a popular myth, moisturizing your face can actually keep it away from drying up.
