Nollywood on-screen character, Jim Iyke, was on Monday evening arrested at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, for slapping a worker of Dana Air.

It was accumulated that the artist arrived late for his 12:15 pm Abuja flight and the aircraft's security faculty attempted to assist him with meeting up with the trip via looking him.

As indicated by onlookers, Iyke declined to be searched and pushed the man away, yet the man demanded that he should be sought before boarding.

The man's request was said to have rankled Iyke, who slapped the man for 'squandering his opportunity.'

Iyke was later arrested by officers from the Airport Police Command.

Dana Air's Media and Communications Manager, Kingsley Ezenwa, who affirmed the episode, said Iyke was, be that as it may, released after he had apologized to the carrier worker.
